My Broadway Baby

So one of her christmas presents this year was a Hannah Montana microphone that you can tune into the radio and hear yourself on the speakers. Needless to say, if you know her at all, SHE LOVES IT! This was a performance I taped after hearing her in the other room saying, "I would like to thank you all for coming tonight, I am going to sing a song for you" and after singing and pushing the applause button (yes there is an applause and drumroll button that might be her favorite part of the whole thing) and saying "Thank you, thank you, you are wonderful". Enjoy!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning the girls were so much FUN! Lily was in shock and said over and over, "He Came, He Came!" while Ella had to warm up for a minute because we woke her up to open presents.
One of the first things they opened was this little fisher price dollhouse with a prince and princess who can waltz, and a pony with a little stall. It was for both of them with the hope that they will share it and play together and so far they have. Then Lily opened her Rosetta fairy doll, Ella got Tinker Bell. (The theme this year was similar but different presents for them)

Ella loved her jewelry that she got in her stocking.
I was so happy I found these Tim Tams at Harmon's because Chad has always talked about how on his mission they would suck hot chocolate through a Tim Tam cookie and call it a "Tim Tam Slam" and I've always wanted to find them for him.
For breakfast we had the traditional scones and oranges from the stockings.

Lily loved her Belle dress that I found at a garage sale back in Sept. and she was with me, but I put it away and she totally forgot about it.
Ella got a new baby that drinks a bottle, burps, goes to sleep, snores, wakes up and giggles!

Fondue (Christmas Eve Dinner)

It is tradition in my family every year to eat fondue for Christmas Eve dinner. Vital ingrediants are very good cuts of meat (top sirloin, or filet mingion, or strip if you're on a budget), french bread, bleu cheese dressing (made from mix + sour cream), salad, and Martinelli's sparkling apple cider.

Christmas Story

Right before bed after we read the Christmas story in the Bible, our girls wanted to snuggle up with Dad and do one of their favorite things; READ. I just love these pictures because I see this little scene everyday and my heart falls a little bit more in love with this husband of mine.

Christmas Jammies

Its tradition in our family to get new jammies for Christmas and I was so excited when I saw my mom had sent these along with all the other Christmas packages. I LOVE the girls pants she made, they are wide leg with the cutest pink ruffle along the bottom, and Chad and I lived in ours for a couple of days they are so soft.

Cuteness

Tonight as I was driving the girls around big houses looking for good christmas lights, we found a truly AMAZING one off of Palisade Drive right above the Riverbottoms and as Lily is looking at it she says, "Wow, mom I really feel like its Christmas right NOW!!" and "It's so beautiful I just can't even believe my eyes" and "I want to live in this Winter Wonderland" all while Ella is just saying "Look Yeh-Ye (Lily), yights!!! Tees!! Yights!" (Lights, trees) over and over.

Christmas Ugly Sweater Party

We had been talking with some friends about doing an ugly sweater party and our friends the Whalens did an awesome job hosting it at their house. So I picked up these little beauties at Savers and you would be surprised at the poor selection of ugly sweaters! I completed my winter snowflake collared sweater with jingle bell earrings, ugly 90's hair, and red peep toed shoes with socks! Chad went a bit over the top and actually shaved his head to make him look bald with a tiny comb over and complete with a sick stache! Its really scary how GOOD we looked being UGLY!

Josh and Ange

Lisa and Brent (Goulay)

Stephanie and Ben

Jeff and Heather (earrings lit up)

Jaren and Nicolle (Sweet turtlenecks)

We did white elephant gifts and we scored a Snuggie, and a carseat (I know we made out like Bandits) We also won a prize for best outfits (Pretty sure because of Chad's dedication to character). SO much FUN!

Silly Billies (12-09)

This is what I get distracted with while I'm trying to catch up on blogging
