3 Wishes
So I think it's safe to say we've had some rough times lately, maybe a rough year even financially and lately Chad's new job takes him and our car away from home quite a bit. Now the car thing isn't a big deal since I have two little kiddos who mostly are content to just hang out at home and play all day anyway. But, when their mom gets a little stir-crazy she starts wishing for some things. Like:
1. A way to take the kids to storytime at the Library and stop by the Sunflower market to get some yummy fruits and veggies
2. To get my hair done cuz seriously it's been 7 months, for real I was starting to look like I dyed half the length of my hair blonde and the other half brown, it was BAAAAAD!
3. To go to the grocery store before 10 at night when I move at the speed of a turtle because I am too tired and am trying to think too hard.
Well, lucky for me I have the BEST friends in the WORLD and they make all my wishes come true! So thanks Angi, Summer, and Kelly you guys ROCK!! And I have so many other friends who I know I could always call for help. SO seriously thanks everyone for being my friend, I love you all and even though I have no car and no money, please let me return the favor sometime. Just to help you guys out here are some things I can do:
1 -babysit your kids- I am always here and have a basement full of toys
2- sing you a song- I am not promising good quality but definately good theatrics and a good laugh
3-make you something girly/crafty- think scrapbook/tutu/hair bow/sewing
4-Anything else you can think of
Love, Jess

Talkin' to Grandma
One of Lily's favorite things to do is talk to my mom on the phone, I guess it's the next best thing to seeing her in person. Sometimes it's daily, sometimes a few times a day, but I love that whenever anything happens she says, "I need to call Grandma and tell her about this." So thanks mom, for always being there and willing to let a 3 year old tell you everything about her day.

Tinkerbell aka LilyBell or TinkerLily
For Christmas my Mom made Lily this Tinkerbell outfit to go with the Tinkerbell movie she got. She LOVES it and wears it a lot! She loves to have me be Fairy Mary and she is Tinkerbell and we find all sorts of ways to bring fairy magic to the house. So much fun!

Aren't I Lucky!
To get serenaded by this girl everyday. I love how her voice cracks a bit when she goes for the high note, she gives it everything she's got that's for sure!

8 Months
This girl is such a light! She brings joy and laughter to our house all the time and is such a good baby. 8 months old and: loves to play in her excersaucer or with a basket of toys which she empties and then plays with the basket, loves food of all shapes and sizes (especially when it is sneaked to her by her sister Lily, who when caught says, "It's just a teeny, weeny, tiny mom, and she really likes it.") , talks and sings all the time, says "Ya" "Da" and what sounds like "Hi", rolls all over the place and is starting to do the backwards crawl. So much fun to see her grow.

Bowling For The Birthday Girl
That night we went to the BYU bowling alley because Lily kept asking me to go bowling which is so funny because she has only been once in her life about 10 months ago, but I guess it made an impression that lasted. So we went with some friends and their boys and it was super fun. Thanks to Chad who kept the game going with the kids, and helping them with carrying their balls and aiming them in the right direction while the moms got to chat. One of the cutest things was little Sebastian after every turn, had to run up to Lily and say "I did it" and get some sort of recognition from her. After a bit though she got bored and wanted to play the hunting game in the arcade. Cupcakes were eaten after it was all done and on the way home she said, "Mom, Dad, that was so nice of you, thank you I'm so proud of you." So I think she a great Birthday.
