New Hair-do!

So, I know this is so silly but this is the first time I've ever done braids in her hair and I just couldn't help myself with a couple of minutes, seriously my next kid is going to think I was obsessed with Lily!

Focused Effort
So I don't know when our survival instincts start to kick in but I never thought as early as 18 months. One day when we were at the park Lily just started to get down to the serious business of picking up and gathering all the sticks she could find. It cracked me up so I had to take some pictures.

Playin' in the Rain

I know all moms would agree how absolutely adorable it is when their husbands jump in and play with the kids, well here is one of my favorites because Lily just loves to play in the water so when Chad got out and they splashed in some puddles, well it just made her little day!

Ducks

One Sunday afternoon Chad, Lily and I decided to help the duck population out with some free lunch, so we went to the park and gave them an entire package of old tortillas. As you can see they were a hit with both ducks and little girls.

FHE and Hiking

Monday Night we had FHE with the Almanns, Dastrups, and Lowrys. We just went to the park and had a little BBQ but still it's always so fun to be with friends!

Steep Hike

My Cute Hubby and his friend Joseph (Jojo) hiked on Labor Day, Lily and I opted to stay home in the cool house and clean. It was so fun to see Chad actually take pictures of something he does because I never have any so I had to post these. Hopefully we can do more outdoor stuff with Lily a bit older now, Chad use to do so many outdoorsy activities when I met him that I know he'll be an excellent guide to the outdoors.

Lisa's Pool

After the whole public pool epidemic erupted, Lisa was kind enough to invite us over to her pool so we could still enjoy the water in this hot weather. We got pizza and made a little afternoon of it, so much fun!
