Lilyisms

So I thought I would share a few of Lily's favorite sayings and doings since she is a total chatterbox and they are constantly in my head: - Everything is either "SOO cute" or "Oh sooo tiny" or "SO BIG"
-After I give her anything or do anything for her, she replies, "Tanks Sweeie" (Thanks Sweetie)
-Lately this is her reply to anything she doesn't want to do "NO WAY, OKAY"
- This one never gets old for her even after you answer it 20 times, "What you doing?"
-She is really into babies right now and will sometimes make them cry and then proceeds to say, "Oh It's okay baby, wahhh, you sad baby? Want juice? Pat, Pat baby. (And then sings) Rock bye baby in tee-top, when wind bows caydle rock, bo beaks, cadle fall, sjdhaosifruhscnsdcn, cadle ALL! You happy baby"
-She loves to do "makeup" and constantly comes up to me with this little doll makeup holder and says, "Need eyes mama?" "Need Cheeks, and wips?"
-All her toys are arranged in threes, with a Daddy, Mommy and of course a Baby
-I can't get her to eat real meals in her high chair very often, so we have to call them little snacks, and instead of naps they are called tiny rests.
-This is my favorite but after we put her new snowpants and coat on her she turned around and said "I'm a pincess!" and now she says it all the time and wants her "bacelets and wings" (bracelets and rings) to wear around the house
-When we have taken her outside in the snow this year, she has said "OUCH!" every time a snowflake hits her, and she gets really bugged about it, it is so funny.
-She has also just discovered how to "stall" mom and dad at bedtime with such sweet requests as "tiny dwink peese", "More hug", "More kiss", "I need baby", "want song", "rock mama" (She wants me to rock her like a baby), "more juice", "read book, nother one?" and lastly when I refuse almost all of these she goes for "I want daddy"
-She is always asking us to dance with her and she sings constantly, I can't believe she will be 2 in less than 2 months!

Thanksgiving

So Thanksgiving was at our house this year, my parents and brothers came here which was so much fun. Lily still wakes up in the morning saying, "Gamma, Papa, Jor (Jordan), Zack!" And it's so sad for me to say they're not here anymore they went back to Arizona. Seriously, when are you guys moving here mom and dad? Anyway Thanksgiving was a hit, and surprisingly the turkey was easier than anticipated. Mom's sweet potatoe casserole was the HIT, I will put the recipe on as soon as I get it, and my pies (although not nearly up to par with chad's mom's who made 73 this year, that's right I said 73!) were pretty darn good! We went to a family party up in Bountiful to see my mom's parents and siblings and that was fun with our annual white elephant game. Lily was busy in the church's kitchen a lot of the time playing with all of these magnets she found, don't you love the resourcefulness of toddlers? Anyway it was much fun, and I can't wait until Christmas when Lily get to really understand what's going on this year. Seriously the Holidays are never Better than when you have kids to share them with.

I Love how Lily is looking at her Gamma here, she loves her so much!

Lily Dancing

Sorry I don't know how to turn this so it's right side up! This was Lily right before her dance recital at the Gingerbread Festival. There were a group of older kids singing and dancing and she was just totally singing and dancing along with them, which I was glad about because I thought if she got excited about them then maybe she would actaully do her dance on stage. Well, she did and loved it! I always knew she was a performer, but the past few weeks in class she has a had a tough time doing it and at the dress rehearsal she screamed and wouldn't let go of me. Needless to say I just didn't want any crying today and she did the dance so great!
