Happy Birthday Babe

Happy birthday to my sweetie, the best husband, father, friend and probably person I know. I adore how much he loves our girls and love even more how much our girls adore him. As Lily puts it, "Dad, you are the prettiest prince I ever have forseen." and "Dad I'm gonna marry you."Wow, I could never say enough about how much I love this man. So Happy 31st Birthday Babe! We went to St. George over the weekend to really celebrate and more on that in another post.

Ella Rose

This sweet face greets me every morning, multiple times in the night, and is always with me. My new little bit of sunshine. What a sweet thing to be loved by her.

Friend Birthday Dinner

Since Kristi's birthday was in June, and Katie and I share the same birthday (July 27th), we celebrated all together in August, makes sense right? It was super fun nevertheless and we enjoyed some Applebee's food and a blondie (MMMMmmm)! Love these girlies!

Fishy Friend

Yes, that is a fish in her TUB! Thanks Dad. There were all these goldfish in the centerpieces for the banquet dinner, and since no one lives close enough to take them home, we decided to take one jar full up to the hotel room to show Lily. She immediately named them the Lilys' 1, 2, 3, and 4, and then dad put one in her tub. At first I thought she would freak, but she loved it right from the start! We noticed the fish wasn't doing well in the tub water and put him or her in a cup for Lily to watch the rest of the time. And the next morning when we checked out we told her the fish belonged to the hotel and we had to leave them there.

Boyack Family Reunion

So sweet
All six Harmon kids: Matt, Michelle, Staurt, The Mom, Cliff, Katie, my Dad
Shelly and Sleater, Me and Ella. She is one week older than him, we are excited for the next reunion for them to be buddies. I guess technically they are cousins once removed.

My parents and Lily, she loves them more than anyone else, except us maybe, and you can tell from her face!

The Andersons

At the Banquet Dinner on Saturday night
Zack playing spoons with the cousins!

Sweethearts, this was one of a rare occasion where we didn't have kids (Ella was happily playing on the floor and then passed around to family) and it was so fun to visit with all the adults.

Kim and Stuart
So after the Harmon Family reunion, we headed up to Park City for the Boyack reunion. It is basically my great great grandparents George and Jane Boyack and all their descendants, like 250 people were there, but there are many more. Highlights included: the family BBQ, squaredancing, olympic games, cousin capers, family skits, adult banquet dinner, boyack sunday school and Sleater's baby blessing, Lily's fish pet for one night, shopping at the outlets, and of course swimming in the hotel pool.

Great Grandma Beryl

My grandma Beryl stayed at our house for a week after the reunion, and she spoiled us truly. We miss her already up in Washington!

Family Bed

I just couldn't resist a picture of one huge bed and one tiny baby that controls all the sleep going on in that bed.

With so many visitors in our house lately the sleeping arrangements have been a bit confusing, so we've had a few visitors in our bed that now think the situation a permanant solution! Why is a parent's bed so appealing?

Darling sisters

These girls are just starting to have fun with each other, which makes my heart melt.

Tight Squeeze!
Even Tighter!!
I still have yet to really capture one where they are both smiling at the same time, but as you can see it's not for lack of trying.
