Making Pies with Chad's SS class
Since Chad's mom is the Pie Queen, he wanted to spread her goodness to his Sunday school class of 15-16 yr olds. So in December they came over and made 3 apple pies and 2 pecan ones, and each one got to take one home to share with their families. He is a great teacher and really enjoys the youth he gets to work with.

Rosette sweater
A friend of mine let me sew rosettes on a sweater that had a couple of snags that she wanted to cover up and I think it turned out pretty cute

Swimming Classes at the Rec Center
This winter I enrolled Lily in a few swim lesson sessions at our local rec center and she LOVED it. I really think she has learned a lot and come a long way in just 3 months. She started out as the girl who hated getting her face wet in the tub to swimming underwater and floating by herself, and now is in level 3. She got really sick in December and so she didn't finish that session so I hope we can start up again next month because I think it was a great energy burner when its too cold to go outside still.

Fun with Headbands
I whipped up a bunch of these headbands for christmas gifts for Lily's dance and swim teachers and a couple of friends. They were really imperfect but fun to make, I am really trying anything to come up with new uses for my little fabric rosettes that I have like millions of.
