Ahhh, MAY finally we saw some sunny weather and started to enjoy the Summer activities we love soooo much, like swimming

Mother's Day treat from these two cuties!
Lily's Dance recital photo shoot, so maybe I was THAT cheap mom who wouldn't buy the class photo but took pics of the photographer while they were shooting.
In case you can't find her Lily is in the middle row, second from the right. Yep I also was the mom that woke up late and didn't have time to curl hair or do make-up for picture day. Wow, I sound AWESOME
The girls had some fun while waiting patiently for their personal sessions. I tried so hard to convince Lil to let us leave since I wasn't buying the pictures but she insisted she have some "posing" time in front of the camera. What a ham!

These two are so alike in personality its scary sometimes! But Ella did inherit her dad's hilariousness, so that's always fun!
Took the girlies to see The Cat in the Hat play at BYU

And met up with some of their favorite boys, Ollie and Baz

Afterwards we jumped in some rain puddles and found a science fair on campus at the planetarium

Pretty May flowers
Beautiful blue eyes
Made some rocket ships
This girl is content to walk to the beat of her own drummer, instead of playing in the bouncy house like every other kid there

Went with the Ramey's up to Vivian Park one day after church for some nature time. The girls plopped down in the sand and got to work digging stuff
The boys did some fishing, that Ella was fascinated with

Crazy hair day at preschool, Lily insisted on one bun and one ponytail. I guess I'm not very imaginative when it comes to hairstyles, so she didn't have a lot to draw from.

BYU BF Sheryl got to come down for a visit, and we convinced her to stay the night and then when she jetted off to her next appt. in the AM we followed her to Magleby's so we could snap a pic with this famous lady. LOVE HER!
After her show, which she did an awesome Tap number to the "happy working song" from the movie Enchanted.
She insisted on taking about 500 shots with her flowers that Dad gave her

I just LOVE her!!!
Played at the Pelisiee's one night and had a BBQ. Ella and Ava jumped and jumped together

They really wanted to make paper plate masks one day, so here they are, I love my crafty/dramatic/imaginative/crazy girls

The mom-feeling-sick-in-the-other-room led to a lot of creative games, this one being called "toy store"

My little brother Nick got engaged so we had a little bridal shower for Liz at my house with aunts, and cousins
Chad and Nick got out on dish duty because my dishwasher decided not to work that day
I put up a few "lovey" decorations
Robin and the bride-to-be Liz (Roomates)
Cousins Emily and Lisa (Sisters)
Aunts Diane and Karen (Sisters)
Lily was Liz's right hand present helper opener
Ella turned 3 and decided to be a ballerina princess for her party

We had a small little get together (also due to "morning sickness" time) with some friends and family, cupcakes and pizza, most of her favorite things
Tried to do my original butterfly garden theme, but failed pretty miserably, at least there's always next year? My friend Angi loaned me the cutest little bug cake pan and Chad decorated these cutie for me

Purple is her favorite Color of you can't tell

Thank you, thank you, thank you friends and GRANDMA HARMON who spoiled her totally!

She loves all things Rapunzel and got a doll and movie to enjoy

Grandma even made her a supergirl cape and leotard to match the one Lily has, but of course it's purple. And she got a sing-a-majig and a cupcake set! So thrilled!! (Cute side note, the sing-a-majig sings Skip to my Lou, and Ella started singing it next to Chad and changed the words to "Skip, skip, skip to his Lou" pointing to Chad everytime she said "his". She is so smart and funny we just love our Ella Belle and can't wait to see what fun she'll bring this year.
