Busy Day!

So I think yesterday was the busiest day I've had in a long time, which may tell you how much life has slowed down for me since I became a mommy. After returning a library book on the way home, I put Lily down for her nap. Half an hour later I had to go visiting teaching, so I left my baby monitor with my next door neighbor (I promise this is okay, she's a good friend and we've tested the monitor several times before, Lily always sleeps for at least an hour, and I was VT only a few houses down the street). After Lily woke up we went and got lunch for my friend Lisa and brought it to her to visit and see her brand new baby Sawyer, so CUTE! After an hour there we raced over to my other friend Ashley's house to do some very important work. Four of us friends were splitting a stack of scrapbook paper from Costco and Ashley and I had the very difficult task of dividing up evenly and in coordinating stacks the 360 sheets of paper! So fun! After an hour and a half there we swung by Harmon's to return a little chair I had gotten for Lily that she broke within an hour of getting, and picked up drinks for my Bunko group. Then we stopped at the house to pack up Lily's bag, dinner, change her into pajamas, and load tutus. On our way to the freeway we stopped by Nicolle's house to drop off the drinks for Bunko (which I unfortunately had to miss) and we were on our way to Bountiful. After an hour and fifteen minutes in rush hour traffic, we got to Grandma's house where Lily played with Grandma and Aunt Diane while I went to sell some tutus at a jewelry party. After getting lost with my mapquest directions and asking a few local residents, I got to the party at 6:40, sold 4 tutus then drove back to Grandma's house. We left at 8:00 and made it home around 9:00, where Lily was so excited to be out of the carseat and to see her daddy she was absolutely giddy. After hearing about Chad's softball game- they won!!- I jumped in the shower, put Lily to bed, and while Chad did the dishes and picked up the house I had just enough time to read one chapter of my book and then collapsed into a sleep coma! I know that was probably my most boring blog to date but seriously such an eventful day is rare, so I thought I'd share. Lily was such an angel too, what a trooper to put up with such a crazy mom!

I tried to comment on your later post, but there was no way to do it. My friend, I hate shopping for myself and love doing it for anyone else. I wonder why we are like that. Well, I guess you tagged me . . . this will take some thinking . . . you rock.
