We're having a. . .

GIRL!

I was really sure it was going to be a boy and was really excited for something new when at our ultrasound today, nope, no boy parts to be found. It was so funny to watch Lily watching the big screen and saying that's our baby and the confused look that followed like "that doesn't look like a cute baby." But she loved to hear the heartbeat and after it stopped she asked the ultrasound tech. if she could do it again. I do have to say that I am excited for lots of reasons, but mostly for Lily to have a sister because I was an only girl and always dreamed of having one, so when they fight later I can always say "just be grateful you have a sister" right? And I hate to admit it but I let myself go through all of Lily's 0-3 month size clothes and they smelled heavenly, just like a baby smell and all of a sudden it hit me, that, yes I am really pregnant (I know that sounds wierd but when I'm not sportin' a huge belly yet and don't feel the baby moving around yet, sometimes I just feel fat and tired), and wow I am really excited to have another little tiny baby start all over on thier little journey. K so I know I am only thinking of the good things but hey let's not spoil this blissful time with memories of night time feedings and spit up. Anyway just thought I'd share the update and say I am ready for more PINK.

I'm excited for the girl!! Thanks for the invite the other night. Sorry the timing didn't work. Hopefully, when things slow down after Christmas. Any ideas for the new baby's name?

Congrats! I think it would be fun to have two girls in a row. The only problem is instead of having your new baby wear the hand me downs, you'll have to get new clothes for BOTH of them so they can match!
