oh i wish i could have been there for the "tea" part. and eh hem, lest we not forget who also made a spring break visit.
anyway...
funny story i was looking at your pictures on google reader while my students were watching the school's morning show. for some reason my nosy students wanted to see what i was doing on the computer and saw a picture of ella. they asked who that was. i told them it was my friend's baby. one of my students was like, "your friends have babies?!" i said, "yep, most are married. i'm the last one." and she said "at your age some of your friends have babies?!" i really think they still think i'm like 15 years-old. it was funny. oh and they were baffled that i had friends, too, i think. or they might have been baffled that your baby was white and i don't know that they could make the connection that i have friend who are not of color; unlike most of them. sometimes i seriously want to go into their minds and figure out what they're thinking.
