The Purple/Yellow skirt (sewing project)
So while my mom was here for Spring Break this year she and I got crafty and made this little skirt for the MISS. It was a lot easier than I thought and I found the pattern on this blog, which my friend said I HAD to LOOK at. I am super excited to start using my sewing skills for something other than tutus and hair bows!!!! And after a trip to my Grandma's house I got this sweet footstool, which Lily uses non stop to help me in the kitchen, and I am planning to recover it with some snazzy fabric.
I also found this super cute vintage bambi-like little light which Lil LOVES on her nightstand right next to her bed so she can "look at stuff in the dark, or read books by".

I also started using all my fabric scraps to make little flowers to cover up all the old stained shirts I have from the kids.

My SWeeT MODEL

Hopefully I can keep up the actual completion of all these in-the-works projects I've got goin on:) Wish me Luck!

Impressive. I wouldn't even attempt that kind of stuff. Good luck!! :)
So cute Jess, nice work! Those darling little skirts make me want a little girl!
Ok Jessica, I really want to get together with you and sew. I'm craving to do some projects and to do them/learn with someone who already knows how. That skirt is too cute, and I've totally been wanting to make a cover for one of my old ottomans. The little deer lamp is adorable too!
Jessica you are amazing!! I put Reesa in that little outfit you made and she looked adorable!! I got so many compliments from people about it too!! :) Love the flowers on the shirt so much!! So cute and creative!
