Gma Martin's Pies
Chad's mom is a FAMOUS Pie Maker, so while she was here for her visit in October she wanted Lily to help her from start to finish create some yummy pies. Lily had a ball, picking out the fruit at a local stand, then washing, cutting, mixing, rolling, and stirring!
She was so proud of the finished products! And we all enjoyed the strawberry, peach, apple and pecan pies of goodness! I know she will always remember spending time baking with Grandma Martin, because even more than a month later she still talks about it.

Ooo yummy, those all look so delicious! Lily looks especially cute helping out. I would love to get the recipe to the apple one with the red hots {if she's willing to share it}. I tasted some cinnamon apple sauce that someone had canned last year with red hots in the recipe and it was so good!
