July 2010

4th of July the girls and I drove down to be in the crowded craziness of the parade. After finding a spot and then having a whole family come stand right in front of me we had to move down to find a different spot and despite some rudeness (seriously people if you come late and try to stand in front of other people who already had a place set up with chairs, they wont be able to see over you and it's just not COOL) we got to see quite a fun parade. Here's Little Miss silly face
The girls loved all the "princess" girls they saw and wanted me to take pictures of all of them

She's just LOVELY
We always go to the parade and it is so close to my old college apartment, it's fun to remember all those fun times and be in that neighborhood again.

Waiting for the parade to start
Mmmm Cheetos
More Princess Curious GeorgeI LOVE, LOVE, LOVE seeing the Temples in the Parade

After these princess' got done with their part they were walking to find their families and Lily stopped them for a picture

My girls love the glitter

After the Parade we went to Kneader's for Breakfast

These next pictures of 4th of July night are totally backwards but I'm too tired to fix it so sorry; Our wind blown faces
We got to ride back to Summer's in the back of her truck and it seriously was kind of like back in high school for a minute.
Cute Summer, her daughter and mom-in-law
I got Summ to pose with the Osmond Singer and me so I didn't feel like such a dork
Lisa and I showing off the fancy Lady Liberty centerpieces at the banquet feast afterwards, so yummy, I think I ate 4 smoothies and 2 ice cream sandwiches!
My Favorite: FIREWORKS
Fireworks with our 3D glasses on
The cool 3D glasses, and yes I look like a geek
LOVE these Ladies

Summ gave us a VIP pass to go stand on the floor and see Carrie up-close, it was so fun and this was my very first concert ever!

She is just so cute, I love her style
So for the 4th of July we were going over to our friends the Whalen's house because they have such an awesome view of the fireworks even though they wouldn't be there because they were going to the Stadium of Fire at BYU, but right before Summer let me know that her husband and little boy weren't going and that me and Lisa could take their tickets. Carrie Underwood was performing and so Chad was awesome and took the kids to hang with the guys and the girls went to STADIUM OF FIRE!!

One day we wanted to go see the Lavender Fields in Mona so we drove down with the Pelissies and did a little exploring.

Got this umbrella at World Market for cheap because it was broken, and anyway it made for a cute prop for some photos

Trying to get a picture of 4 kids with the sun shining in their eyes was IMPOSSIBLE but here are some funny attempts

So Beautiful
Then we went to the park and played afterwards

Sweet Juliet

The adults had fun too

And the big hit is always Baby Juliet
Seriously the kids just crowd around her and want to love on her

Cute Kylee and Lil at Tuscany Pool

One Saturday we took a drive up the Spanish Fork canyon to have a picnic dinner and just explore a bit

Besides the bugs, it was fun to find a new place and it was beautiful with the lake and the mountains, I love living in such a great place

For my 27th birthday we went out to dinner at a swanky (yes I said swanky) new place downtown called Spark. They had this funky doll wallpaper, and some fun artwork and modern furniture and the food was delicious too!

They had some yummy, drinks that we had to try and this was the shirley temple with cotton candy on the straw
I know this doesn't look good but it tastes AMAZING!! IT's a bacon, gouda mac and cheese with fried chicken, and yeah it's GOOD!
Aubree, Angi and I
Chad, Marc, and Jojo

Some sweet treats after dinner
I just love this one of the girls playing together, they really are such best friends and it makes my heart happy to capture these little glimpses of them

After swim Ella was thrilled to hold Juliet

Angi and I took the kids to the Springville Art Museaum to see the quilt exhibit and it was so cool, made me want to be a quilter like my mom... Someday

They have a beautiful garden too and we had fun seeing all the flowers and sculptures

Some of my fav. art pieces from the upstairs of the museum
Ummm.... this one is just kind of scary

We went to a friends wedding in Lindon and saw this beautiful place I never even knew about

Ready for church
Someone from KSL came and picked up this mess so now my backyard is CLEAN again!
