JUNE 2010
So this Month was spent at my parents house in Flagstaff. We spent many, many fun days at the pool in my parent's neighborhood. My girls were such little fish!
When Chad got into town again for Nick's Homecoming he loved playing in the sun too!
So much fun for me to sit by the pool, watching these two just play and play and play with their Daddy

One day we all went as a family to ride the chairlifts at Snowbowl. It's called the Skyride and it was kind of a bit scary for me because their are no seatbelts and you're very high in the air. So I was holding onto Ella for dear life and trying to enjoy the scenic view around me.

SO a little out of order, but when we went to the airport to pick up my little brother Nick from his mission, his flight was delayed, then delayed and delayed again, so we played around in the airport for a while as we waited.
We got a little goofy in our boredom.
Finally that night he was arriving! We made a bunch of posters to look even cooler when he arrived! :) And after being dressed normally and cute, the girls decided to change into their dress-ups while we were home for a bit, soo they ended up like this... Ariel nightgown and leotard

He looked so happy, it was so amazing to see my brother so matured and changed for the better, and he was already pretty awesome before he left!

For Chad and My 7th anniversary we went to dinner in downtown Flagstaff which is an eclectic little area. Think: Hippie, route 66, artsy, college, and environmentally friendlyish. We had fun people watching and went to a new Spanish Organic restaurant that was like a little cafe. They had these really fun flavored sodas for the non-alcoholic folks and between the pineapple and grapefruit I think we picked the yummiest ones!
There was fun artwork on the walls to look at and I loved the Orange paint color.
Chad got some yummy fish tacos
And I got some AMAZING quinioa fritters, seriously I crave these now.
7 years, it's been quite a ride and I really can't wait to see where the next year takes us!

The girls found a lizard and while my brother Jordan and I tried unsuccessfully to chase and catch it, Lily just walked right over to it and picked it up like it was no big thing!

This AWESOMENESS was found while my parents were remodeling the bathroom. Its pretty much the funniest wallpaper ever, I mean nude cartoons all in processes of bathing with sweet 70's patterns and colors! WOW
So my 2 BFs from High School usually get together once a year for our Best Friend's Retreat. Well, Ann had some work stuff come up and couldn't get away, but I couldn't be this close and not see my Rachel! So after renting a car and figuring out all the details we made it work and I went to Safford for the weekend to stay at Rachel's house. First thing we did was check out the AWESOME new clothing boutique that Rachel opened with her mom and sister called Sorellas. It was her dream come true and I'm so proud of her for everything that she's accomplished. We hung out at the store, trying on clothes and just goofing around, it was sooooo much fun!!!!
So first night we went out to a new Hawaiian Place called Kinoa's? It was yum and the salad we got was sooo good, we ate it the very next night too! My Rache, she loves her some good reality TV, so after watching the Real Housewives of NY finale, we did our best RAMONA impression, she's got the crazy eyes!

The salad of yumminess! Craisens, sweet rice, mozzarella cheese, avocado, mushrooms, and the best salad dressing ever.
Then we reminisced at Sonic about when we went there in HS for lunch and after school for "drinks".
Thumbs down on trying to be "healthy" for the weekend

Getting pretty, oh how this reminds me of the old days when we got ready for hours together. So much fun, and it helps that your best friend is super stylin and went to Cosmetology school.
On our last day we went to the local Beauty College to get us some GLITTER TOES.
So sad to leave her house, until next year! I can't wait :)

We sure missed Chad when he was home, so calling him was a serious part of the day
